Meet the Doctors

Dr. Christopher Johnson is a trusted optometric physician, accredited by the State of Oregon and the National Board of Optometry, and a proud member of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.
 

While Dr. Johnson graduated with honors and distinction, he considers his greatest accomplishment completing optometry school while raising five young children. Shortly after establishing his practice in Dallas, Oregon, he and his wife, Rebecca, grew their family to ten children. Since 2003, they have been deeply rooted in the Dallas community, where they have lived, served, and raised their family. Today, their oldest son, Dr. David C. Johnson, practices alongside him in both the Dallas and Monmouth offices—continuing a legacy of family-centered care.
 

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Johnson combines advanced clinical training in ocular disease with a genuine commitment to personalized care. His background includes working in two of the Northwest’s largest eye specialty centers, giving him extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions. Dr. David C. Johnson earned his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Brigham Young University–Idaho and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. He completed clinical training through the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center, Hill Air Force Base, Hoopes Vision, and the Eye Institute of Utah.

Raised in Dallas, Oregon, Dr. Johnson is grateful to be back serving the community he calls home. He provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages and has special interests in pediatric eye care, dry eye treatment, ocular disease management, and routine vision care. He also speaks conversational Spanish, allowing him to better serve Spanish-speaking patients and their families.
